Accessibility and Safety

We require that dwellings and patient property in which an appointment is to take place must be reasonably accessible for our staff to safely enter and conduct the appointment. This includes but is not limited to, ensuring a walkway and entrance are clear of debris, snow, and ice. Areas that will be used to conduct an appointment must be clean and sanitary. We will not enter or provide treatment in personal bedrooms. Staff members reserve the right to end an appointment at any time if these standards are not met and/or they do not feel safe to continue.

If accessibility standards are not met and/or the appointment is ended early, the appointment will be deemed a “no-show” and the patient will be charged as such.

For those Under the Age of 16

We require that those under the age of 16 must have a parent or legal guardian on site during any appointment. If a legal guardian is not on site when our personnel arrive no assessment or treatment shall be rendered, the appointment will be considered a “no-show,” and the patient will be charged as such.

No Show/Missed appointments

We will wait for a maximum of 5-10 minutes after knocking/ringing a doorbell before leaving the area and deeming the appointment a “no-show.” Failure to appear for an appointment without previously contacting us will result in you being billed $50.00 for any scheduled appointments. We do have voicemail and email that we check regularly that a message may be left at.

Cancellation Policy

A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a gap in the practitioner’s day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to appointments. Patients who provide less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a cancellation fee of $25.00 for any chiropractic appointments. Exception to this policy would include feeling unwell or any emergent event directly affecting the patient and/or a family member. Please call us and explain your situation if you are unable to make your appointment due to unavoidable circumstances.

Inclement Weather

We reserve the right to cancel any appointment in case of excessive rain, snow, ice, or other weather/road condition impairing our ability to safely drive or reach a patient dwelling. The patient will not be charged for this cancellation.

Extended Travel Fees

While we generally service a radius of 15km from the city center, home visits further than 15km from Downtown Sudbury may incur additional travel costs. Please contact us for more information.
